Mission
Nahcivan, İran ve Ermenistan’a komşu, gelişime müsait bir yerleşim yeri olan Iğdır, Uygulamalı Bilimler Fakültesi'nin beklentilerine cevap verebilecek coğrafi ve sosyal niteliklere sahiptir.
Fakültemiz, Üniversitemizin imkânlarından yararlanarak üniversal değerleri temel alarak yaptığı eğitim, öğretim ve araştırma faaliyetleriyle açılan programlarda üretken, araştırmacı, yenilikçi, güçlü; teorik ve uygulamaya yönelik bilgi donanımına erişilmesini, gerekli bilgi ve teknoloji donanımına ulaşılmasını amaçlamaktadır.
Vision
Iğdır Üniversitesine bağlı olarak kurulmuş bulunan Uygulamalı Bilimler Fakültesi, Türkiye’nin rekabet gücünü arttırabilecek nitelikte teknolojinin gelişmesine temel oluşturan bilim ve teknoloji alanlarında temel uygulamalı ve geliştirme araştırmaları yapmayı destekleyici, kolaylaştırıcı eğitim ve araştırma görevlerini yürütmeyi ilke edinmektedir.
Kurumsal çerçeve ile öğrencilerine başarılı olmayı, özverili olmayı, bilgi ve becerisini en iyi şekilde kullanmayı öğreterek toplumun arzuladığı yetişmiş insan gücünü sağlamayı kendine hedef edinmiştir.
Mission
Iğdır, a settlement area that is adjacent to Nakhchivan, Iran, and Armenia, and is open to development, possesses the geographical and social characteristics that can meet the expectations of the Faculty of Applied Sciences.
Our faculty, by utilizing the opportunities of our university and basing its education, teaching, and research activities on universal values, aims to provide productive, research-oriented, innovative, and strong programs. The goal is to ensure access to both theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as the necessary knowledge and technological skills.
Vision
The Faculty of Applied Sciences, established under Iğdır University, is committed to conducting basic applied and development research in the fields of science and technology that lay the foundation for the development of technology, which can enhance Turkey's competitive power. The faculty's principle is to carry out educational and research activities that support and facilitate these efforts.
With is institutional framework, the faculty has set the goal of ensuring the development of qualified human resources desired by society by teaching its students how to succeed, be dedicated, and make the best use of their knowledge and skills.
